The Club provides information in interpreted talks, social activities, meetings, trips out to various places of interest. We meet in the upstairs lounge of Cramlington Working Mans Club on Thursday evenings from 7pm -11pm. All D/deaf, HoH and Hearing welcome. We have had local councils / Fire service / police / health service visits to find out what they can do to help the deaf with any problems.

Electronic resources play a significant role in the training of medical and allied health workers in many developed nations. Our strategy is to provide a link between these and medical and allied health workers in developing nations by: promotion through the use of social media, third party organisations engaged in training and collaboration with relevant, specialist organisations.

The Shepshed Lions Community First Responders primary role is to support the ambulance service with providing emergency medical care until care is transferred to an ambulance crew. Additionally the scheme also attends local businesses, community groups and schools to provide CPR and defibrillator training aswell as monitoring 40 defibrillators in the local community ensuring they are operational.

The Frederick Foundation has two main aims. The first is to improve outcomes for stroke sufferers in Nigeria, initially at University College Hospital, Ibadan, and eventually to support prevention and rehabilitation as well.
