Nottingham Oasis Breast Cancer Trust is an expense free charity helping ladies who have had breast cancer. Our aim is to help with the financial difficulties individuals face and their families after or before facing hospital treatment. We help people with bespoke clothing to help with aftercare treatment also.

The charity is a support group for ladies with gynaecological cancer focussing on recovery and living life with or after a cancer diagnosis.Monies raised will support the members of the group as appropriate.

The charity will assist with the purchase of equipment for a child with cancer in order to help make their life easier. Julie Cowans was a brilliant senior advisor on housing and planning who died from cancer in April 2011. The Julie Cowans Memorial Trust was established by her family and friends to commemorate her life and work in housing.The Trust provide grants and bursaries each year to disadvantaged young people aged between 16-24 living in the UK to help improve their life chances and personal development.

The object of the charity is to advance education and wellbeing, by assisting in the establishment and operation of facilities at the University of Tartu in Estonia and other similar research facilities. The facilities are designed for the purposes of transgenic tumour research.

Provide meaningful activities mainly for older people, usually woodcraft workshop based. Following a period of training in workshop practice and H & S members make items for their own use or to meet a need in the community. Regular craft work competitions are open to all members, a recent competition involved the making of wig stands (subsequently donated to Velindre Cancer Hospital)

The Arthur Rank Hospice Charity works in partnership with the NHS to support patients and their families at the Arthur Rank House Hospice in Cambridge. The Charity's main financial responsibilities are funding the Day Hospice, providing treatment and support for patients with cancer and other life limiting illnesses, Bereavement Counselling, Voluntary Services and the Hospice at Home service

The choir travel to various concert venues, singing to raise money for charities such as Leukaemia & Cancer Research, Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance to name but a few. Our mission is to bring awareness of cancer such as breast, oral, cervical, bowel and prostate cancer to vulnerable people in the UK, India and other developing nations. During the years 2005-14, up to 4,015 camps were held, serving a population of 486,851 for pre-screening and early detections with 60,991 mammograms carried out. From this 2,911 cases of cancer were detected in the early stages.

The group is specifically designed to meet the needs of the patients of breast cancer & offers support, advice & friendship. It's a place to meet and encourage members to try & offer each other self-help & support. Family & friends and anyone who wishes to become part of the group are very welcome. We meet once a month and try and offer an interesting and enjoyable meeting.

The Debs Price Foundation was established in 2013 in memory of Debs Price, an inspirational lady who fought cancer for many years whilst helping disadvantaged people to help themselves.
