The Charity has a Permanent Endowment, the interest from which is divided equally between the Wrenthorpe Methodist Church Sunday School and the JMA Secretary of Wrenthorpe Methodist Church for the support of any particular Overseas Mission, Missionary or District or the General Overseas Fund of the Methodist Missionary Society.

As a Charity we look after the Playing Fields for the village and on behalf of the Parish Council. Raises funds for the upkeep of Rushmere Church and makes grants for that upkeep

RELIGIOUS ACTIVITIES

To provide a centre where facilities for in-service training and religious study are available for Catholic priests and students for the Catholic priesthood and where Catholic preists may temporarily retreat and recover from the strains of their vocation.

Managing the transition from the Old School Room, which is now sold, to the church building which will be modified to include a facility for church and village activities. Coordinating financial management with Historic England and Heritage Lottery Fund.

The Parish Council is the sole Trustee and uses the interest from the Chartiable Trust Account for projects that will benefit the residents of Hambleton Village. This could be maintenance work for example or funding for a village group project.

St Faiths Infant School fund exists to support activities not paid for by the taxpayer through school budget.

Premises used for local groups these include local groups disabled, religious, children. Community groups, inc ethnic groups and social groups for entertainment and meetings.

The Orchard Trust makes grants to other charities. Beneficiaries have been churches local to Henley on Thames, international aid charities and children's or disability charities in the UK. Our Objects are wider, however. We have never responded to unsolicited requests.

To promote (with the approval of the vicar & PCC) the restoration, maintenance, repair & improvement of the fabric, ornaments, vestments, furniture & furnshings of Chesterfield Parish Church

At a meeting on 19th March 2025, the trustees decided that this charity be dissolved.After several attempts to revive the charity by calling public meetings, it is not quorate, so cannot function.The current trustees decided unanimously that the residual funds should be transferred to Wolsingham Parish Council, to be used in accord with the objectives of the charity, and this is in process.

Childcare and After School Club - providing childcare and education services for children and young people in nursery and out-of-school centres, community spaces, churches and registered private homes. Providing training and recruitment of childcare staff and volunteers for the childcare industry.

Hold fund raising events to raise money for St.James' Church, Silsoe

We provide groups that allows an open forum for faith development. Training for ministers, spiritual healers/reiki practitioners. Groups for meditation, young persons work and an internet presence on social networking sites. We also support smaller charities and groups with guidance and advice on faith matters and some small financial assistance/finding.

We are a Parish Council, looking after the residents of Nettlestead in the areas of road safety, planning, recreation facilities, environment etc.
