THE CHARITY RAISES MONEY FROM A VARIETY OF ACTIVITIES (FAIRS, BONFIRE NIGHT DISPLAY, QUIZ NIGHTS, CHILDREN'S DISCOS, ETC) TO DONATE TO KNOWLE C OF E PRIMARY SCHOOL. THE DONATIONS ARE USED FOR ADDITIONAL RESOURCES TO IMPROVE THE SERVICE THAT THE SCHOOL OFFERS TO ITS PUPILS.

The Charity was originally founded in 1985 as Emmanuel Community Church. In 2008, the church set up a new charity, and the original charity continued as Emmanuel Overseas Projects. This latter charity is maintained for the purpose of the support of Christian projects and Christian personnel in Third World Countries.

Provides a village hall and recreation ground for the use of the inhabitants of Crugybar. The hall is used for meetings,lectures and classes, community meals, whist drves and celebration parties.

According to our contract with Birmingham City Council we assist older patients after their discharge home from hospitals and elsewhere. Four teams help discharged patients and one of these also works with Falls patients in Birmingham; research, discharge and aftercare; monitor our work e.g. the needs of patients and the help given; participate in the work of national and local organisations.

The charity provides grants to its member groups to encourage arts events to take place in the Stafford District Council area.

In accordance with the Constitution, the principal activity of the charity is to promote the welfare, education, social and recreational needs of inhabitants within the City of Derby who are elderly or in poor mental health. The activities provide culturally sensitive services at the day centre on Burton Road and the main client group are members from the African and Caribbean communities.

Fund Raising through various charity events.

Our aim is to raise awareness of visual impairment through training packages. The package product gives a simulation of various eye conditions and the difficulties faced by visual impaired people in their everyday living. We also aim to assist visually impaired people living in the North East of England by awarding grants twice a year.

Organise and run fund raising and recreational events for to Blackwood School pupils. Cash raised is used to enrich the learning experience for Blackwood School's pupils.

To advance the education of the pupils of Saltaire Primary School by the provision of facilites for education at the school (not normally provided by the local education authority).

Hire and upkeep of the Social Centre, used by various organisations, ie Bowling Club, Soup & Natter group, craft classes.

We hold a luncheon club every week which is attended by about 40 pensioners, We also host aweekly kniting class and monthly coffee mornings and quizesCoffee mornings are now weekly and luncheon club monthly

Community of Grace empowers homeless and socially isolated people to transform their lives. We provide support and accommodation and encourage them to develop their physical, mental and spiritual capacities so so that they may become full members of society playing their part in the local community.

The Charity operates in Upper Weardale, Co. Durham. It provides a venue for use by the whole community and includes various regular activities including Bowls, Keep Fit, Drama performances, Dance, facilities for birthday parties and weddings and also venues for Church Bazaars etc. There is a bi-monthly cinema club and a Community Fitness Suite.

SCOUTING - To organise training and activities for young people to help them to achieve their potential.

Guiding is open to girls and women between the ages of 5-25 and includes all abilities and ethnic origins. Through activities we offer the opportunity to experience fun, friendship and adventure, to enable them in their development to become confident, capable and caring individuals, through their personal life and as willing citizens to contribute to their community.

Activities in Chester le Street Youth Centre are currently available for young people age 13-19 years old with the aim of providing a range of opportunities to enhance social and personal development. Youth work in Chester le Street aims to support young people as they make the transition from adolescence to adulthood, so that they can become happy, confident and healthy adults .

Provide a common hub for the local community. Maintain and improve the village hall for the benefit of all of the parishioners of Hunstanworth. Facilitate local activities and life long education in the community. Encourage links with other organisations which provide similar facilities and services. Promote dissemination of information through the production and distribution of the Parish Post.

Our core training is based on seamanship and traditional maritime skills, but Cadets can also study mechanical and electrical engineering, communications, cookery, computers, band musician, Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme, and a host of associated subjects to prepare them for adult life.

The centre continues to be well used by its tenants and various sections of the community. It now offers a variety of services including community education, employment training, crime prevention and social activities.Its sporting sections has various rugby teams, football teams and bowling teams. A new bowling pavilion and refurbished changing rooms are included in the charity's future plans.

The MEFT was established to assist young people in the village of Medbourne with their education and beyond e.g.:assistance with educational resources and to make the transition from education to paid employment (tools for apprentices, appropriate clothing for job interviews etc..). The MEFT also owns a small amount of recreational land in the village, some of which is now a children's playground.

Provides headquarters and meeting place for local Scout, Cub & Beaver groups. Quarterly meetings of Senior Scouting organisations are held here. The groups' camping and oudoor equipment is stored. Premises are open to local organisations, i.e. Ladies Keep Fit and Ladies Yoga classes, Jumble sales and Quiz Nights. There is off road parkng, wheel chair access, kitchen and toilet facilities.
