Cimatheque Foundation supports and engages directly in a diverse range of cultural and artistic activities that are related to film in the Arab region and particularly Egypt, such as screenings, workshops, talks, educational and training initiatives, support of analogue film practice, archive collection and preservation, and the provision of various other film related resources.

The objectives are to conserve the wildlife and wider ecosystem in the Tsavo National Parks and the surrounding area, totalling the Tsavo Conservation Area in Kenya. This is carried out by providing practical equipment to field based organisations and also using the community conservancy model to provide benefits to the local communities, such as employment, healthcare and education.

The charity runs and delivers local voluntary and community activities. The charity runs a local building, namely Glenroyd House in Consett, County Durham. Own and operate the textile heritage centre at 6 Queen Street, Skelmanthorpe for the benefit of the public at large and education establishments in particular. Guided tours can be arrange and we are also open during national heritage events.

To build and maintain space and facilities for a school of music and film in Makeni, Sierra Leone, free at point of use for local young people of Makeni and the Bombali District, Sierra Leone. This includes a purpose-designed school building, teaching, musical instruments and film making and recording equipment, including cameras, editing facilities and computers; plus some food and transport.
