We run a day centre on most Tuesdays. Part of the funding of the day centre comes from our charity shop (which only sells items donated by members & members of the public).

The Friends of Maynards Green are dedicated to fundraising for additional equipment and resources to be used in school to enhance the current curriculum and the children's educational experience. To advance the education of the pupils of the Lady Joanna Thornhill (Endowed) Primary School by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities for education at the School.

General facilities provided by a village hall including coffee mornings, afternoon teas, light lunches and many other fund raising activities, plus private parties etc.

Education and training. Awarding grants for clinical staff to attend courses which will increase their qualifications, or improve their medical understanding, or to attend conferences and training periods. Research. Providing funding towards research projects and helping staff attend specialist conferences worldwide to increase their knowledge and share their expertise.

Crown Centre is for Profoundly Deaf people in The London Borough of Hillingdon providing support, advocacy and interpreting, Deaf Club activities and a place to meet and communicate in their own British Sign Language and culture.

The charity makes a small number of grants each year, normally to other charities that are known to the trustees.Please note that the trustees do not generally have funds available to respond to requests for grants from other charities.

We are Elected Trustee's and Trustee's/ Represenatives of Village Organizations to our village hall, which is for hire to the general public.

Ide Memorial Hall is the village hall for Ide. It provides facilities for community activities such as meetings, fitness and dance, drama, choir, art group and similar. The Hall is also available for private hire for children's parties and receptions and the like. All age groups are catered for. The Hall has recently undergone an extensive renovation with modernised toilets and kitchen.
