The trustees make grants of income or capital to charitable institutions or foundations for general charitable purposes or any special charitable purposes thereof respectively.However, it is the intention of the trustees to consciously consider the funding of an award or loan to support an appropriate artist working in the field of plastic art.

The Management Committee (Trustees) run the Village Institute for the benefit of the villagers and aim to offer a range of social activities on their behalf. Summer Fair, Christmas Fair and many other social events which raise money to fund equipment for Elburton Primary School which will enhance our childrens' education and make attendance more fun.

The Community Partnership is quite busy and still woring towards improving the quality of life in our community. The Partnership support local groups who use our community hall and we use it for our quarterly open meetings that give a platform for all local groups along with training and events. We hold a very well attended town gala annually which is always a great success.
