The object of the Society is the education of the public in the history of the former county of Merioneth including archaeology, buildings, family history, folklore, literature and all the various subjects which come under the designation of 'antiquities'.

We meet weekly for two hours in a hired hall, set up computers, and generally provide a presentation of some useful feature of ICT and the opportunity for members to practice their skills on the computers most of which are connected to a broad band network.
