To promote beekeeping through education and training for the benefit of the environment and mankind because of the important role of bees in the production of food. Children/young people, people with disabilities and special needs and other charities/voluntary bodies are also beneficiaries.

We organise a subscription series of six chamber music concerts each year from October to March. Prior to the pandemic, many of our visiting artists also visited local schools, mainly primary, to give educational workshops.

To present annually a musical, pantomime and play involving adults and young people. We perform at Kinver High School, Kinver, South Staffs. Donations are made annually to charities proposed by the membership at annual general meetings.

The museum contains over 3000 artefacts relating to country life from a bygone age. The museum is open to the public on Sunday afternoon during the summer period and during the Heritage Open Days weekend. It also welcomes private visits throughout the year from clubs and individuals. The museum also organises educational days for schools and loans out items to local shows and events.

DBSAT has been made a partner in this development together with Wychavon District Council and local bodies.

We have a comprehensive network of employer placements in a range of disciplines including, residential and nursing care homes, schools, nurseries, day care centres, print, horticulture and motor vehicle, amongst others. Our mainstream programmes include Foundation Learning, Apprenticeships and Train to Gain.
