Established in 1897 the National Centre for Young People with Epilepsy is a national charity that is the UK's major provider of services to children and young people with epilepsy and associated learning, emotional and behavioural difficulties. The Trading Name, Young Epilepsy, launched in Nov 2011, reflects our ambition to reach as many of the 112,700 young people with epilepsy, as possible.

BARNARD CASTLE YOUNG FARMERS CLUB IS RUN BY YOUNG PEOPLE FOR YOUNG PEOPLE AGED FROM 10-26 YEARS. MEMBERS OF THE CLUB TAKE PART IN A WIDE VARIETY OF ACTIVITES SUCH AS QUIZS, STOCKJUDGING, BOWLING AND PAINT BALLING AND MUCH MORE. DURING THE YEAR WE HOLD MANY FUNDRAISING EVENTS TO RAISE MONEY FOR OUR CHOSEN CHARITY WHICH IS PICKED BY OUR MEMBERS.

The club offers youth group activities to seniors (12-18) and juniors (8-11 Years), these activities are educational and recreational. A group of volunteers and paid staff run these groups.WA12Radio station now belongs to Newton Boys and Girls Club. A community radio used by the local community for the community. We broadcast online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

The advancement of education through the distribution of the net income of the Trust to Howell's School, Llandaff in South Wales for the maintenance of the girls' school, and the provision of more general educational support for young people throughout North Wales via Thomas Howell's Education Fund for North Wales.

The Truan Trust offers support to young people to receive an education in Uganda. Funding is provided to assist youngsters to obtain an education who do not have any family support, such as orphans through AIDS, or where the family can only offer part support e.g. children of peasant farmers. We are a committee led Pre-School employing 5 part-time staff who provide an educational, safe environment for children aged 2 to 5 years.
