PROVIDE ADVENTUROUS ACTIVITIES AND PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR YOUNG PEOPLE AGED 6-25, IN LINE WITH THE AIMS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE SCOUT ASSOCIATION.

Operating as part of The Scout Association providing activities for Beavers (children aged 6 to 8 years), Cubs (children aged 8 to 10 1/2 years), and Scouts (children aged 10 1/2 to 14 years).

The Group admits young people (aged 6 to 14) to membership, and is subject to the policy and rules of the Scout Association. The purpose of Scouting is to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens, and as members of their local, national and international communities.

TO PROVIDE SOCIAL, RECREATIONAL AND EDUCATION DEVELOPMENT FOR YOUNG PEOPLE AGED 10 - 19 YEARS, WORKING WITHING THE GOVERNMENT FRAMEWORK OF EVERY CHILD MATTERS.

A Rural Youth movement for young people aged between 10 and 26 Years. YFC gives members the opportunity to gain skills and confidence in areas like, public speaking, sports, culture (dancing, drama, entertainments & pantomime) stockjudging and social events and meetings. YFC is member led with skills such as chairmanship, secretarial, treasurer, programme planning & leadership taught.

A rural youth movement for young people aged 10-26 years which encourages confidence and where members can gain skills for life and undertake training.

A Rural Youth movement for young people aged 10-26yrs. Members can gain confidence and recognised Skills in Public Speaking, Sports Competitions, Drama and Entertainments, Stockjudging and Stockshowing/Presentation, Dancing, Duke of Edingburgh, meetings and social events, Fundraising.

THE SOCIETY IS KNOWN AS C E D A R S (CENTRE FOR EMPLOYMENT OF THE DISABLED AND RETIRED OF ROCHFORD SOCIETY. IT WAS ORIGINALLY HOPED TO FIND "PIECE WORK" TO SUPPLEMENT THE INCOME OF PENSIONERS AND DISABLED BUT THIS NEVER HAPPENED. THE CENTRE BECAME A PLACE WHERE THE ELDERLY AND DISABLED COULD MEET TO SHARE SKILLS AND ENJOY THE COMPANY OF OTHERS. FOR A SMALL SUBSCRIPTION EACH MONTH MEMBERS CAN MEET

The Trust continues in being active in Christian agencies working in the developing world, being engaged in work as widely varied as transport, emergency relief aid, education and the support of expatriate staff involved in long term mission and development

We are a registered charity run by students at Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry. We receive applications for grants from recognised bodies on behalf of disadvantaged and deprived people living in the East London (Tower Hamlets) area, and with the 'charity begins at home' ethos, meet monthly to discuss how much to donate and follow-up past applications

The charity managed the Brimpton Recreation Ground which was donated in 1965 "for the benefit of the inhabitants of Brimpton". The charity, with support from the Charity Commission and the inhabitants of Brimpton, sold this ground in November 2020 as it was no longer a suitable location. The trustees have secured a better location next to the village hall and more accessible to the village.

Weardale YFC is for young people aged between 10- 26 years. Meetings are held fortnightly on a Tuesday night throughout the year. The programme throughout the year includes; talks, meetings, visits including Stock judging, quizzes, bowling, rock climbing, and many more.Each year we hold social events to raise money towards ourselves and a chosen charity decided by the club.

In accordance with the Constitution, the principal activity of the charity is to promote the welfare, education, social and recreational needs of inhabitants within the City of Derby who are elderly or in poor mental health.
