The Centre provides a weekly change of scenery and good company for elderly, disabled or housebound people in Portishead, with transport provided to and from their homes. Members enjoy activities such as games, readings, speakers, quizzes and a variety of outings. Lunches and refreshments are included.

A rural charity for young people aged between 10-26 years, where they can learn new rural skills and achieve confidence through public speaking competitions, stockjudging and running their own club and fundraising for themselves and the local community. Lydd Town Museum is a local heritage museum - it is curated and managed by the Friends of Lydd, a registered charity, established in 1979. As a heritage museum our aim & purpose is to share knowledge & information about the historic town of Lydd and the surrounding areas and to act as a hub for connecting the community via the museum. Entrance to the museum is free but donations are very welcome.

A Rural youth movement for members aged between 10 and 26 years. Members get the opportunity to take part in various competitions such as entertainments, drama & pantomime, sports, public speaking, debating, after dinner speaking, stock-judging where they gain confidence and new skills.
