There are no specific subjects but more of a general nature to help local organisations.

The organisation promotes the use of the village hall for the benefit of the residents. We arrange activities including training, as well as recreation and leisure. Also raise money to improve the Hall and the environment in the Village itself.

To provide facilities for children and adults of the local area to participate and learn the skills required to perform 'on stage'. To provide a safe environment when young persons can learn to be part of a team, participate in all sides of drama activities including performing 'on stage ' to an audience.

We provide funds for the continued enhancement of the surrounding national park study centre, Plas Tany Bwlch, and for research into local environmental projects.

The Institute meets monthly for a two hour session. A Speaker talks for 3/4 hour and Institute business is discussed and social time allows members to interact with one another. We are mainly an environmental organisation. Over the last few years we have not been operating due to not having a lease on the land and unable to obtain liability insurance. We now have a Lease on the land and are now planning our future activities. We are opening our Community Garden on the 1st April 2013 and this will be accessible for all people. We also have a sports pitch.
