The charity exists to finance the Deanway United Church. This Church provides the local community with spiritual and pastoral guidance, and a place of worship. The Church performs baptisms, weddings and funerals for the community. The church also runs a number of social and educational groups.

The 3rd Christchurch (Jumpers) Scout Group provides Scouting to young people aged between 6 and 14 years of age. Young people take part in activities based on the section they belong to and their age. The sections within the Group are Beaver Colony, Cub Pack and Scout Troop.

General fund raising, raffles, Special Food Events, BBQ's, Picnics, Flower Club, Gift Fayres, close connection with the nearby Church so hall is used in connection with some events.

The Charity administers and manages the recreational facilities for the benefit of the local community and other members of the general public. The amenities include the recreation ground, children's playground, memorial gardens, three tennis courts with a clubhouse, the Parish Pavilion, a Scouts hut and a Sports Pavilion.

The provision and conduct in or near the area comprised in the Parishes of Chertsey, Thorpe, Egham and Chobham of a School which (i) shall be a School for girls and, if the Governors think fit, for boys; and (ii) shall be a day School or, if the Governors think fit, a day and boarding School; and b. The provision of other educational benefits for girls, boys and young persons.

Religious events.

The Village Hall is held in trust for the use and enjoyment by the inhabitants of the Parishes of Balderstone, Osbaldeston and local areas by way of meetings, lectures, classes, clubs and other forms of recreation and enjoyment.

The charity provides a Sunday morning cheder (religious class) for Jewish boys and girls aged between four and twelve/thirteen years from the Merseyside Jewish community.

The church exists to promote religion by worship of God through a purpose general teaching which is exclusively religious. The choir aims to promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in an appreciation of liturgical choral music by the provision of such music for Christian Church Services and by presentation of public concerts and recitals.

Members of the Community continued to work in hospitals and nursing homes providing medical and nursing support. In the local parish communities the sisters undertake pastoral work, including adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, visiting and administering the Eucharist to the lonely, sick, aged, bereaved and other members of the community. They are also involved in other aspects of parish life.
