Haswell & District Mencap operate from a purpose built building in the heart of the community. Our main target group are people with a learning disability, their carers and the wider community. W'EYES is a campaigning group for blind and visually impaired people of Walsall. At meetings we provide accessible information, education plus leisure and social activities for those visually impaired people who find it difficult to cope with their disability. Friends of Ysgol Bryn Castell aim to advance the education of the pupils at YBC by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities (not required to be provided by the LEA) for education.Ysgol Bryn Castell is a 7-19 Special School for children and young people with emotional, behavioural and social difficulties, including a specialist provision for children with Autism at the school.

Operates a centre with a range of services for 16 user groups. These range from young people's drama and dance groups, older peoples keep fit classes and groups for disabled people. The move to the newly built centre was made in May 2012. The Trust have worked with Open Art in bringing various art forms to the local community.
