To promote human rights (as set out in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights andsubsequent United Nations conventions and declarations) in Central and EasternEuropean countries that are members of the European Union by providing grant fundingfor all or any of the following: Research into human rights issues; Educating the public; Raising awareness on human rights issues.
