Research has continue to focus on three broad ares: venous thromboembolic disease, atherothrombosis and cancer associated thrombosis. Educational symposia bring together researchers and practising clinicians to disseminate the results of research.

We promote the treatment and care of persons suffering from oesophageal or stomach cancer and to provide support to those caring for such persons or who are affected by oesophageal or stomach cancer amongst their families or friends.

Race Against Blood Cancer's goal is to increase the volume and diversity of people who register as potentially life-saving stem cell donors.Our ultimate goal is to increase the number of people from minority groups ? whether defined by race, ethnicity or gender ? which are vastly underrepresented on the donor registry as stem cell or bone marrow donors.

Rising Voices Wessex is a community choir based in Dorset for people affected by cancer. Singing helps people to regain their confidence and improves their health and wellbeing. The choir provides support and encouragement; aiding recovery through singing. Together, we make music that matters. Whether we're pitch perfect or delightfully off beat, we sing with our hearts and that's a real gift.

Supporting children and their families going through their cancer diagnosis and treatment. This by means of providing facilities for recreation, financial assistance (small grants), emotional and practical advice. Providing help and assistance to Oncology wards, children's hospice (oncology patients).

Enhancing the physical and mental well-being of breast cancer sufferers and survivors in the UK through sport.

We work to make sure every young person knows the common signs and symptoms of cancer, and when to go and see their GP. We run a variety of events within universities, and also do other talks and workshops in colleges and businesses. Restore is an information and support group for women contemplating breast reconstruction following a breast cancer diagnosis or those who have a faulty gene BRCA. We run Show & Tell events at Hospitals in East Grinstead, Dartford and Worthing where ladies can come along, meet women who have already been through breast reconstruction and see the results of their surgery in the flesh.

Promote, protect and improve healthcare of persons affected by PTEN Hamatoma Tumour SyndromeSupport and promote research into the Syndrome

We offer a range of different social opportunities and activities in local venues, that allow our members to live well with and beyond their cancer diagnosis and treatment. We have monthly evening meetings, luncheon club and sewing group as well as weekly yoga class. We also celebrate every opportunity we get.

We currently provide Gift cards, food vouchers and small grants for Cancer patients in three Teenage Cancer Units in Nottingham, Leicester and Cambridge.We hopefully will expand this to other TCU`s when funds allow.

The Errol McKellar Foundation's aim is to pursue the advancement of health and the saving of lives by creating greater awareness of the dangers and issues of prostate cancer among men in England and Wales and the promotion of the need for regular health and prostate cancer PSA tests, in particular but not exclusively for men over the age of 45.1 in 8 men in the UK will develop prostate cancer.

Lauren's Legacy provides support to young people and their families who are undergoing treatment for cancer. This support could be in the form of respite breaks, provision of travel grants, provision of technology (tablets/laptops) to enable communication and study whilst isolated/hospitalised and other suitable grants/equipment as determined by the Trustees to add quality to life.

To support children and families associated with the treatment of cancer or leukaemia

To give help to the need and distress of people with cancer or with other illnesses who can benefit from its services, and their families and friends. It does this through counselling, healing, relaxation, diet advice and supporting therapy work. Based in an appropriately equipped centre, all its work is complementary to the treatment given by patients' own doctors or hospitals.

We provide palliative care for the people of Burnley & Pendle (and Rossendale for inpatient facilities) suffering from cancer and other life-limiting illnesses. We also provide support for their relatives and carers. We do this primarily with our 10 bed inpatient unit, our day service and outpatient facility and our Hospice at Home team who look after patients in their own homes.

GUTS is dedicated to improving the experience and outcomes of individuals affected by bowel cancer. Through grants it funds capital projects, pioneering medical research and a clinic for families with a strong genetic risk of developing the disease. The Rosemary Foundation Hospice at Home provides a full supportive hands-on nursing service for patients suffering from cancer, or other life-threatening conditions, in their own homes. We serve the community within an approximate 15 mile radius of Petersfield and provide cover seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day, without charge

Small idependent local charity, raising money for local cancer care. Fundraising activities include dinner dances, barn dance, quiz night, bridge evening and cake/book stalls at numerous fetes. Money raised is used to buy/contribute towards items for use in cancer care at local hospitals and hospices.

The charity is a local choir, providing social activities for local residents, mostly retired people. We give several concerts per year, much of the income going to local and national charities (eg a local hospice, Marie Curie cancer care etc.). Concerts are also given in local care homes.Recently we have successfully started a young peoples choir which is proving very popular.

Our activity is the relief of sickness and promotion of goodhealth among those suffering or at risk of mouth, throat and other head and neck cancer by the collation and dissemination of relevant information and support to patients, carers and health professionals. This includes increasing awareness of mouth cancers, support for research, education, advocacy, and service.

Since COVID-19, we have been delivering physical health exercises and health talks and advice on ZOOM with the financial help from the Community Lottery Fund . Our charity exists to deliver practical support and advice in the following, Healthy eating, High blood pressure, Diabetes, Cancer, Depression, mental health. Our charity exists to reduce isolation and improve the health of older adults.

We have supplied and run ambulances for a Regional Cancer Centre taking palliative care to advanced cancer sufferers.Our boys and girls homes offer facilities for needy children.Our day care centre for the elderly also provides day care to housebound elderly.All projects are registered in England and India; our assets remain Trust property.

The Charity is meeting its objects of raising funds in support of the Withybush Hospital Cancer Day Unit through the sale of second hand items of clothing and household items which have been kindly donated by members of the public in support of our Appeal.

The charity's principal activity during the period was to provide support and assistance to people who have suffered or are suffering from all forms of cancer by such means as the trustees consider fit.

The Joe Gilligan Trust exists to support and improve the lives of teenagers and young adults fighting Cancer. As Joe was a drummer, the trust also provides performance opportunities for young musicians for example - gigs, shows & professional mentoring. The majority of our fundraising is through music and the performing arts.
