The role of the Bournemouth Leukaemia Fund is to support local research into the cause, diagnosis, natural history and treatment of patients with chronic lymphoproliferative disorders, especially chronic lymphocytic leukaemia. This is achieved by funding salaries, reagent costs and attendance at meetings to present research data.

FORCE is a Westcountry cancer charity dedicated to assisting local cancer patients and their families. FORCE provides patient support at our purpose build centre, funds a local research programme and purchases "state fo the art" equipment for local cancer treatment centres. The charity was incorporated in 2011 and now operates as FORCE Cancer Charity reg no 1140676.

This charity operates openly in areas where help is desperately needed. The most recent appeals made were for the Pakistan Flood Disaster, Bangladesh Cyclone, Bangladesh Cancer Treatment and Kashmir Earthquake Appeal.

The charity provides support for cancer patients and their families and organises mettings and talks (by surgeons and oncologists)every 2nd & 4th Thursday of the month. Skilled healers and a counsellor are available. Telephone support and up to date information is also offered.

The Market House is a volunteer run centre working to alleviate rural isolation and deprivation offering the disadvantaged, access to language classes for Migrant workers, a Food Bank distribuition centre both run by Market House Volunteers , access to District Council Customer Services, Citizens Advice Service, adult education opportunities and community groups. It is a Macmillan Cancer Hub.

AMMF is dedicated to raising the awareness of cholangiocarcinoma (bile duct cancer), supplying information to those who need it, and raising funds to support specialised research teams in their work into the causes, methods of earlier diagnosis and treatments of this disease.

We provide comprehensive information on adult high grade brain tumours, offer support to anyone affected by a high grade brain tumour and promote awareness of and provide information about brain tumours to the general public. We also provide a kit for children with a brain tumour to enable them to stay in touch with their classmates whilst they are absent from school.

Provide support to families with children suffering from Cancer by funding complimentary therapy service comprised of a Complementary therapy Nurse Specialist (CTNS). Provided at the children?s hospital beds at GOSH or within a complimentary therapy room. Families can also benefit from speaking with the nurse about their treatment. To relieve sickness, to promote and protect good health by supporting research, for the public benefit, into the treatment of children with Non Hodgkin Lymphoma. Have supported Dr S Turner of Addenbrooks, Cambridge, in setting up a research project with the aim of producing better, less toxic and invasive treatments for children with Non Hodgkin Lymphoma and, eventually to find a cure.

The HPV and Anal Cancer Foundation is dedicated to empowering anal cancer patients and accelerating prevention and research methods that eliminate anal cancer and the virus that causes the majority of cases, HPV.

During the pandemic and the ensuing months our activities were necessarily limited. We did make up mouth care packs consisting of toothbrushes, toothpaste, and information about head and neck cancer. These were distributed to food banks in local areas. Thanks to helpers in Stockton and Darlington.We are now beginning the process of strengthening the charity with some new trustees and supporters

The Ben McNicol Trust raises funds to support the ongoing use of it's property 'Ben's House' for children undergoing cancer treatment. The accommodation is located near to a specialist children's cancer hospital (the Royal Marsden Sutton). We are involved in various fundraising projects in order to achieve this goal. We raise/donate funds into the research of Triple Negative Breast Cancer via Action Against Cancer.We have also teamed up with Navitas centre in Shavington to provide funds into holistic treatment (reiki/reflexology) for women with breast cancer and to enable people to learn reiki so they can self treat in the Crewe and Nantwich area only.

World Cancer Care carries out activities which provide education and awareness of cancer to reduce the risk of late stage diagnosis.

The Wight Brainy Bunch operate on the isle of wight, serving isle of wight residents only, we raise funds by holding various ticketed events, also attends local events with our charity stand to promote ourselves, whilst also receiving donations. We are a support group for men and women who have been diagnosed with bladder cancer and, importantly, also for their carers and partners. Support provided includes the opportunity to talk to other patients and clinicians in social environment about their treatment choices and life after bladder cancer.
