Provide neighbourhood care in the South Norwood & Woodside area, including a pop-in lunch club. Activity centre for adults with learning disabilities, stroke club, transport services.

Social club to meet others affected by stroke. Trips & meals out, guest speakers, cards, dominoes & bingo etc.

TO IMPACT HUMANITY AND TO RAISE AN ARMY FOR OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST .TO TEACH AND PREACH THE INSPIRED LIVING WORD OF GOD TO THE LOST,THE OPPRESSED AND THE BROKEN-HEARTED WHO HAVE NOT HEARD ABOUT THE MESSIAH IN ORDER TO BRING LOVE, PEACE, UNITY, SALVATION, HEALING, DELIVERANCE AND KNOWLEDGE OF CHRIST TO THE NATIONS.Currently the Ministry is not in Operation.

The Christian Abundant Life Ministry also known as The CALM Movement offer a wide range of services to the community, aiming to improving lives and enrich the quality of life in deprived communities. Our "Hungry Hearts" Project which sees us feeding the homeless via our surplus food bank, Motivational speaking to students in Schools, International Evangelism projects, and Community led fun events

The Frederick Foundation has two main aims. The first is to improve outcomes for stroke sufferers in Nigeria, initially at University College Hospital, Ibadan, and eventually to support prevention and rehabilitation as well. The second is to create an academic link between the medical school at Ibadan and the medical school at Oxford University, UK, for the purposes of education and research.

We exist to advance the awareness of heart related disease in the black community in UK and advocate for necessary intervention and prevention. When needed, we signpost to relevant practical help for people who are affected.

February 2011: A total 348 underprivileged children and young people from Africa, have received life saving heart operations through the Kanu Heart Foundation since 2000. The Foundation's waiting list is currently oversubscribed and we receive many appeals on a weekly basis.

Funding Research, prevention and treatment by the relief of sickness amongst personal suffering from cardiovascular diseases. and the advancement of education of the general public and medical professionals in the subject of cardiovascular diseases.

The objects of the charity is to advance the health and safety of lives by: ? providing defibrillators in as many public places as possible;? providing CPR and defibrillator training to all recipients of defibrillators; and?advancing the education of the general public in all areas relating to sudden cardiac arrest, CPR and early defibrillation.Heart screening.

We organise local amateur dramatic productions, usually 1 to 2 a year, in order to give our community the opportunity to experience local theatre, both through taking part in productions and as members of the audience. We also make donations to other organisations and groups within our community (such as the local school, nursery and community cafe), and to other good causes close to our hearts.

Compton Verney is a nationally-accredited art gallery and historic, ?Capability? Brown-designed park located in the heart of the South Midlands, not far from Stratford-upon-Avon. We present a wealth of opportunities for discovery and enjoyment in our galleries and landscape, and we passionately believe in sharing everything our rich, multi-faceted site has to offer.

Offer help and support to stroke survivors, their carers and family. Activities include weekly exercise session and mutual support. Aim to enable survivors to lead as normal life as possible by organising regular outings. Meals, gliding, sports day are a few of the activities we offer. We also provide information to improve the treatment of strokes and the subsequent rehabilitation.

The Charity continues to fund raise for the Heart of Staveley project.

The Group was formed to help support Stroke Survivors Carers and their families.We meet up every couple of months to chat and to share our experiences.And to offer help and support where ever we can

First Responders have attended numerous callouts for the Welsh Ambulance Service in this reporting period.Responders have been to 6 patients experiencing Sudden Cardiac Arrest and many others that needed emergency help.The team has been out in the community training members of the public in CPR and Defibrillator use. We continue to fundraise in order to update our equipment as necessary.

Birtley Community Centre resides within the heart of the Birtley Community between Elisabethville and Station Lane. We cater from Birth to Senior Age delivering all sorts of activities that are both self-lead and lead by other businesses or volunteers which means that every so often we are able to bring something new, or sometimes inaccessible to an accessible area such as this one.

Heart of Cheddar is committed to supporting the community in Cheddar. Our mission is to uplift local residents by providing essential resources and fostering community resilience. We plan to operate a shop in Cheddar, where we will sell donated goods (clothing, books, and household items) to generating profits that will be redistributed back into the community via various, much needed, grants.

As a church we believe God is calling us to once again be at the heart of the community of Waddington.After the church was damaged by a parachute mine in World War 2, the community came together to rebuild a church with the intention of it being at the centre of the community.
